Brake, transmission, exhaust and glass work is often done by specialty shops that see the same job dozens of times a week. Brake shops replace pads and rotors the same day and usually inspect for free; transmission shops rebuild or replace automatics and clutches, a multi-day job that deserves a second quote; muffler and exhaust shops weld custom pipes and replace catalytic converters, which in many states must meet emissions rules. Alignment and suspension shops fix pulling, uneven tire wear and worn shocks, and radiator shops handle overheating and cooling-system leaks. Auto glass shops replace windshields, often at your home or office, and recalibrate the driver-assistance cameras mounted behind the glass. Window tinting and car audio shops round out the group.

Arlington is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Arlington is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Expert in every aspect, fast service, clean shop and very personable staff. I would and have recommended D&D Auto Tint to my friends. The ceramic tint is perfectly clear and doesn't distort the view.

I brought in my 2019 F-250 XL. I’m really happy with the tint—it turned out great, and I’ve been enjoying it. I also had remote door locks added. I appreciate the quality of the work and the great customer service.

I had my 2012 MINI Cooper Roadster’s windows tinted here in 2012 and after 14 years no problems at all. I even added protection on the hood (MINIs are notorious for getting hood chips from the road and passing vehicles.), the door handles, and, I think, the gas tank door. Still as good as new!

Exceptional Experience at D&D Window Tint! I could not be happier with my entire experience at D&D Window Tint. From the very first phone call, the team was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and helpful as I worked through deciding which tint would be the best fit for my needs. They took the time to explain all the options clearly without any pressure, making the decision process easy and enjoyable. When it came time to schedule the work, their flexibility was outstanding — they worked around my busy schedule and got me in quickly. The quality of the installation was top-notch, and the final result looks absolutely fantastic. Clean, professional, and precisely what I wanted. I’ve already recommended D&D Window Tint to all my friends and family, and I’ll continue to do so. Whether you need premium window tint, audio upgrades, alarm systems, or dash cams, this is the place to go. Outstanding customer service, expert craftsmanship, and fair pricing. Highly recommend — you won’t find better! Thank you to the whole team at D&D Window Tint for making this such a great experience! 🚗

I recently had my new VW Golf R tinted at D and D Tint, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From start to finish, Amy, Bob Bronson, and their technicians did an absolutely phenomenal job. This car is my pride and joy, so I’m very selective about who I trust to work on it—and they exceeded every expectation. The quality of their work speaks for itself. I’ve already received numerous compliments on how great the car looks, and I’ve confidently recommended them to three of my close friends. What really stood out to me was the heat-reducing tint. I was honestly skeptical at first, but I was completely wrong—it made a huge difference. Driving home, I didn’t even need to blast the AC like usual. That level of performance is no joke. On top of that, they provided official documentation of the work with a guarantee, which gave me even more peace of mind. Their pricing was also extremely competitive, especially considering the high level of quality and service they deliver. Beyond the results, the team is incredibly friendly, professional, and clearly takes pride in being a family-owned business. Their shop is well-organized, clean, and runs with a level of efficiency
